Pearl's Premium mixes are specially-blended to grow a 12-48 inch deep root system after one year. As a result, they only require watering for a one-month period to get established, periodic watering during first hot summer period, another one-month period for an (optional) over-seeding the second planting season (recommended), and then rarely or never again.
